BI Incorporated Names Scott McCool Area Sales Manager for West Coast

BI Incorporated, a leading provider of offender monitoring technologies, treatment and training programs for correctional agencies, today announced Scott McCool has been named Area Sales Manager, West Coast.

In his new position, McCool will work with BI correctional agencies and oversee business development staff in Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Idaho and Alaska. McCool has an extensive background with offender monitoring technology and reentry supervision services.

McCool joined BI in October 2005 to support accounts in the southeast United States before being promoted to business development representative for the territory. He began his career as a probation officer in Indianapolis and later became an assistant home detention coordinator for the community corrections department in Marion County, Ind., supervising the electronic monitoring center and GPS programs. McCool also worked for two years as a regional sales director within the industry for sales and support of offender monitoring systems that included GPS tracking.

McCool earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal Justice, business and psychology from Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
