GroupGuard has a limited yet important role - it is a tool that helps agencies to monitor multiple individuals living in one residence, such as material witnesses or a family being supervised in the community. As with GroupGuard Plus, this system includes an ankle-worn transmitter for each person and a single receiver installed in the home.
Proven technology, compatibility
Like GroupGuard Plus, this electronic monitoring solution is engineered after the most commonly used radio-frequency electronic monitoring system in the industry, BI HomeGuard® 200. The receiver accurately distinguishes individuals on the system and time-stamps compliance for scheduling requirements. GroupGuard is also compatible with BI Drive-BI®, a portable, hand-held receiver that detects the presence of clients wearing BI HomeGuard 200 or BI 9000® Series transmitters from outside a home, work, school or counseling session.
