Electronic monitoring system for group homes and halfway houses :: BI GroupGuard® Plus
BI GroupGuard Plus is a sophisticated yet easy-to-integrate electronic supervision system that enables corrections agencies to accurately monitor up to 75 offenders living in one residence for compliance to curfews and schedules.
Group or halfway homes
With thousands of offenders living in halfway or group homes today, BI GroupGuard Plus offers agencies a cost-effective tool to monitor schedules and curfews yet allow for individuals to leave for work, school, treatment or training.
Less equipment means less hassle
Individuals being monitored with GroupGuard Plus each wear an ankle-worn transmitter, but only one receiver is necessary for each home, reducing cost and necessary equipment.
GroupGuard Plus is engineered after the most commonly used radio-frequency electronic monitoring system in the industry, BI HomeGuard® 200. The receiver accurately distinguishes individuals on the system and time-stamps compliance for scheduling requirements. This system is ideal for matching different offender risks and variable needs, with features such as range settings, leave windows and unlimited schedules for each participant. GroupGuard Plus is also compatible with BI Drive-BI®, a portable, hand-held receiver that detects the presence of clients wearing HomeGuard 200 or BI 9000® Series transmitters from outside a home, work, school, or counseling session.
