BI Technology & Training Forum breaks record

 In Industry News, Monitoring Technology

This year’s annual spring BI Technology & Training Forum was a huge success. More than 200 community corrections’ and immigration officials made the trip from around the nation to the BI Monitoring Operations in Anderson, IN, making it the highest attended forum to date.

Training sessions ranged from learning how GPS works to making the most of your electronic monitoring program. It also featured a widely popular session on what agencies can do to mitigate risks and increase public safety while monitoring offenders. Customers were also able to get a sneak peek into BI’s future technologies that will become available soon. Attendees with general questions about the equipment joined an informal session with some of BI’s leading experts in electronic monitoring.

BI’s partner, SOBERLINK®, was on hand to provide additional information about its SL2 alcohol monitoring solutions. In addition, representatives from Protocol Government Solutions, a firm BI recently purchased that offers case load and monitoring support, was on hand to answer questions and provide information.

A local news organization, The Herald Bulletin, captured the event. Read “Preventing Crime With New Technology” here.
