GEO Corrections and Detention
This division provides secure corrections and detention management services, as well as secure offender transportation services to government clients in the United States and internationally. Transportation services are delivered via GEO Transport.
This division offers intensive residential treatment; youth services; electronic monitoring equipment and technical support; and community-based correctional services. GEO Care companies include:
- Abraxas Youth & Family Services provides specialized programs and services to juveniles and their families. Abraxas offers proven expertise and programs for behavioral, substance abuse, and educational issues in residential and community-based settings. The Abraxas secure residential, community–based and outpatient programs meet the needs of juvenile and adult clients with valuable services such as work readiness training, supervision and monitoring, methadone maintenance, family reintegration, and individual and group counseling.
- GEO Reentry Services delivers treatment and supervision programs to offenders transitioning to, or currently living in, the community. These services provide a lower cost alternative to detention, hold individuals accountable, and promote successful community reintegration with evidence-based practices. GEO Reentry specializes in Day Reporting Center programs; in-custody treatment and training programs; and residential programs.
- BI Incorporated was established in 1978, and is the U.S. leader for offender monitoring products and services in community corrections. BI offers a wide range of products and services that help federal, state, and local agencies to monitor parolees, probationers, pretrial defendants, and illegal aliens involved in the U.S. immigration court process as they live in the community. Agencies use these products and services for both juveniles and adults.
